First trip to Saputo Stadium
Since 1996, Sporting Kansas City has been playing at new and unfamiliar stadiums almost every season. Including LIVESTRONG Sporting Park, almost every MLS team in the league has constructed a new stadium to call home within the last 16 years causing Sporting KC to play on brand new turf 29 different times against active opponents. Sporting KC’s history of first games played in a new away stadium leave the team with a record of 10-12-7.
