Kamara makes EPL debut

Forward Kei Kamara, on loan from Sporting Kansas City to Norwich City FC, made his EPL debut today in a scoreless draw against Fulham FC. Kamara replaced Luciano Becchio in the 86th minute in front of the Canaries home crowd at Carrow Road and directed a header narrowly high of goal less than a minute into his appearance. "He's produced the biggest cheer of the afternoon from the Norwich support," the FOX Soccer commentator remarked.
85 - Big ovation for Becchio as he leaves the pitch...and it's a huge moment for @keikamara as he makes his Barclays Premier League debut

An encouragingly lively cameo appearance from @keikamara in the closing stages one plus point, a clean sheet another. Not a classic though.

The 28-year-old Sierra Leone international arrived in Norwich mid-week after securing his work visa and conducted his first training session with the squad on Thursday. Norwich City Manager Chris Hughton told the BBC prior to the match, "His mindset is very good. He wants to come here and he wants to make an impact. That's why we brought him over and that's what we would like him to do."
Kamara also received a loud ovation in the 38th minute upon warming up along the sideline and was shown on the FOX Soccer broadcast. Norwich City's Steve Garland commented, "Clear to say he's a fan favourite already!"
