So that your fellow Sporting Kansas City fans do not miss any of the action on the field, Children's Mercy Park staff may ask fans to wait at the top of the aisle until the ball is out of play or until a break in the action out of common courtesy for all spectators.
Alcohol sales in the general seating areas of Children's Mercy Park will end at the 80 minute mark for Sporting Kansas City games. Alcohol sale end times will vary for other stadium events. Staff members at Children's Mercy Park strongly encourage all fans to exercise responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages. Fans should be aware of the following policies during Sporting Kansas City matches and all major events:
Any fan that shows signs of impairment and/or intoxication may be denied entrance to or may be removed from Children's Mercy Park and subject to arrest.
No alcoholic beverages can be brought inside the stadium. Any attempt to bring alcohol inside the stadium or possession of an alcoholic beverage not purchased from Children's Mercy Park may result in ejection. No alcoholic beverages served inside the stadium can be taken outside Children's Mercy Park.
State of Kansas law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21 years of age. All fans should be prepared to show proper identification if requested by the concessionaire staff member.
Concessionaire staff members reserve the right to deny services to fans that show signs of impairment and/or intoxication.
Fans providing alcoholic beverages to persons less than 21 years of age may be ejected from Children's Mercy Park and subject to arrest.
Fans possessing alcohol that do not have proper identification when requested by a concessionaire or security staff member may be ejected.
A maximum of two alcoholic beverages will be sold per person per transaction.
It is the responsibility of each guest to ensure that they have a safe means of transportation when leaving the facility.
Stadium management reserves the right to change these policies and procedures at any time without prior notice to fans.

Ameritas Shield Club
Fans holding tickets for Club level sections 106 – 108 have access to the Ameritas Shield Club located on the west side of the stadium on the main level. Please enter Children's Mercy Park through the West or North Premium Entry for access up to the Ameritas Shield Club. In addition, fans holding tickets for UMB Field Club, Ivy Funds Executive Level or Signature Level access are permitted into the Ameritas Shield Club.
Guide, signal and service animals are allowed inside Children's Mercy Park with fans that need their assistance (service dogs only). No pets or other animals are permitted. Service monkeys are not permitted.
Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)
For you convenience, there are 3 ATMs inside Children's Mercy Park. ATMs are located at (1) Section 112 on the concourse; (2) Section 122 on the concourse and (3) inside the Boulevard Members Club for guests with valid ticket access.
Baby Changing Stations
All men’s, women’s and family restrooms at Children's Mercy Park are equipped with baby changing stations.
In accordance with MLS Best Practices and Sporting Club security guidelines, bags measuring 14” x 14” x 6” or smaller may be permitted after a thorough inspection by stadium security staff. Fans that need to bring a diaper bag, when accompanied by a baby or infant may be subject to the same inspection procedures. Fans should be prepared to open their bags for inspection and may be asked by security staff to shift and possibly remove the contents. Bags larger than 11” x 17” x 10” may be denied entry inside Children's Mercy Park, and fans may be asked to return the bag to their vehicle. There are no lockers outside of the stadium to store items nor can any items be held by staff members. All items left unattended outside the stadium may be disposed of by stadium staff.
Banners & Signs
Sporting Club fans are encouraged to show their support and may bring banners, flags and signs provided the item falls within the following guidelines:
Flags or posters that do not contain commercial messages, political messages or offensive material.
Flags or posters on poles are only allowed with hollow PVC pipe poles.
Item may not contain or display any profane, offensive, graphic or obscene language and/or pictures as determined by Children's Mercy Park.
Item may not be taped, glued or secured using an adhesive agent of any kind
The hanging of an item may not in any way damage the stadium walls, paint, railings, glass or any other stadium property.
Items must be made of a paper or lightweight cloth-like material. Signs cannot utilize wood, metal or similar types of materials for support.
Signage not permitted within Chlidren's Mercy Park may be disposed of by stadium security unless the guest wishes to return it to their vehicle. The decision regarding the admissibility and/or posting of any banner or sign is at the sole discretion of Children's Mercy Park and Sporting Club management.
There are currently no bike rack locations outside Children's Mercy Park for fans that choose to ride a non-motorized bicycle.
Bottles & Cans
Fans may not be allowed to bring any type of bottle, can, thermos or beverage container inside Children's Mercy Park. Parents with small children may bring plastic bottles of formula or milk inside of the stadium. At the discretion of Children's Mercy Park Management during a heat emergency, each fan is allowed to bring one (1) 20-ounce bottle of water into the building. The bottle of water must be sealed, and the cap must be removed at the gate by security personnel. Proper announcements will be made via the team’s social media.
Children's Mercy Park has two (2) box offices: one (1) located on the East side of Children's Mercy Park and one (1) located on the West side of Children's Mercy Park. On Sporting KC game day, the East box office will open at 10:00am, while the West box office will open three hours prior to kick-off. SeatGeek Will Call can be claimed at both box offices with a valid credit card and form of State or Government photo identification. Box office hours will vary for all stadium non-soccer events (ex: concerts) and guests should visit http://www.sportingkc.com/sporting-park and click on events for more information. Boulevard Members Club
Fans holding tickets for the Members stand, sections M1 – M9, have access to the Boulevard Members Club located on the northeast corner of the stadium. Please enter Children's Mercy Park through the Boulevard Members Club entrance doors located at the northeast corner of the stadium. Ticket holders for this section may enter at least two hours (120 minutes) prior to kick-off and may be seated 90 minutes prior to kick-off. All stadium ticket holders and the general public are allowed access into the Boulevard’s Members Club at the conclusion of each Sporting Kansas City match. Opening and closing times of the Boulevard Members Club are subject to change. Access into the Boulevard Members Club may vary for special events (concerts, etc.).
Fans may bring personal, still-photo cameras to capture the special moments from their visit to Children's Mercy Park. However, video cameras, monos/tripods and cameras with a detachable lens are not permitted inside the stadium.
Cell phones are welcome inside Children's Mercy Park. Fans are reminded, however, to make sure that their cell phone conversations are not disruptive to the others seated around them.
Child Locator Wristbands
Children's Mercy Park has child locator wristbands available at both Guest Services Kiosk locations. The child’s ticket location or contact phone number can be written on the wristband in the event a child gets separated from their party. The Guest Services Kiosks are located along the main concourse (near sections 101 & 130).
Children’s Ticket Policy
Children two years of age or younger are permitted inside Children's Mercy Park without a ticket provided they sit in a ticket holder’s lap, and so long as the child does not obstruct the view of others nearby.
Fans are not permitted to bring or use any type of chewing tobacco inside Children's Mercy Park during events. If chewing tobacco is discovered inside the stadium, ticket holder must dispose of it immediately or face possible stadium ejection.
Code of Conduct
Fans are expected to comply with Children's Mercy Park’s and Major League Soccer’s Code of Conduct. Failure to do so may result in ejection from Children's Mercy Park. Sporting Club does not condone misbehavior of any kind.

Fans that refuse to follow the direction of Children's Mercy Park staff or fail to comply with the Sporting Club Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection without a refund of their event ticket and may lose ticket privileges.
Elevators are located throughout Children's Mercy Park. The location and availability of these elevators are:
East Gate Entrance (Northeast corner) – Fans with disabilities for access to main level concourse seating and patrons with baby strollers
Four Premium Elevators (Northwest corner) – UMB Field Club, Ameritas Shield Club and Suite ticket holders. Fans with disabilities are also allowed escorted access.
West Media Check-In Elevator (Sprint Plaza) – Working media only

Children's Mercy Park offers five premium event spaces that accommodate all groups and sizes. All food services at Children's Mercy Park are handled by Legends Hospitality. Any catering provided by companies other than the stadium concessionaire is not permitted inside Children's Mercy Park or anywhere else on stadium property.

The Sprint Plaza, Boulevard Members Club, and West Premium Tower entrances open two hours (120 minutes) prior to Sporting Kansas City matches. East Gate and Concourse/Bowl seating will open 90 minutes prior to kick-off. Entrance time will vary per event:

Being prepared in an emergency is one of the most important things to remember. Familiarize yourself with the closest exit or emergency exit in your area. Families or groups should pre-designate a meeting location outside the stadium in the event that they become separated in an evacuation. If you have any questions about the nearest exit locations, please ask one of our Children's Mercy Park Guest Services Representatives for assistance. Always remember to remain calm and follow the instructions of the staff and public address announcements. For everyone’s safety please evacuate your area in an orderly manner.
There are a total of five family restrooms that are intended only for the use of parents with small children and fans with disabilities. All family restrooms are outfitted with baby changing stations and are ADA compliant. The family restrooms are located on the main concourse near sections 101, 114, 121, 127 and 133.

UMB Field Club
Fans holding tickets for the UMB Field Club, sections F1 – F8, have access to the UMB Field Club located on the west side of the stadium on the field level. Please enter Children's Mercy Park through the West or North Premium Entry entrance doors for access down to the UMB Field Club.
First Aid Locations
Children's Mercy Park has two Providence Medical Center First Aid locations that are available to assist fans throughout each event. They are located on the concourse near sections 121 and on the North end of the Sprint Plaza.
Food and Beverage Policy
Fans are not allowed to bring any food or beverage items inside Children's Mercy Park other than those served by Legends Hospitality, the official concessionaire for the facility. We ask that fans either leave these items inside their vehicles or dispose of them at the security checkpoint before entering the stadium. The only exceptions are food and beverage items for infants two years of age or younger. Fans are allowed to bring in empty water bottles but are subject to being check at the gates.

Guest Services Representatives are ready to assist you and make your visit a memorable one. The Guest Services Kiosks are located along the concourse near sections 101 and 130. Some of the services available at these two locations include: Stadium Information, Lost & Found, Child Locator Wristbands, Stroller/Wheelchair Assistance and Guest Feedback.
Guest Shuttles Transportation
Children's Mercy Park offers complimentary guest shuttles from general stadium parking lots to and from the Stadium. Fans are encouraged to remember where they are dropped off at as that is where they will be picked up at the end of the night to return to their car.
Ivy Funds Executive Lounge
Fans holding tickets for suites on the Ivy Funds Executive Level have access to the lounge and their respective suite located on the west side of the stadium on the 4th level of Children's Mercy Park. Please enter Children's Mercy Park through the West or North Premium Entry entrance doors for elevator access up to the 4th level.
Children age two and under do not require a ticket for admission. Children must occupy parents lap only as all seats are ticketed.
Laser pointers are considered a prohibited item at Children's Mercy Park and are subject to confiscation if brought inside the facility. Fans will be immediately ejected if found using a laser pointer during events at Children's Mercy Park.
Lost and Found
During your visit to Children's Mercy Park, should you misplace an item or find something that belongs to another fan, please visit one of the Guest Services Kiosk. Claim forms are available to report missing items. Fans inquiring about lost items should call Stadium Security at 913-912-7500 or Stephen Howell, Fan Experience & Guest Services Manager, at 913-912-7511. Items are held in storage for 30 days and then are donated to a local charity. Sporting Club and Children's Mercy Park cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.
Lost Children and Guests
Children who are separated from their family or friends may be escorted by a stadium staff member to the closest Guest Services Kiosk (located on the concourse by sections 101 and 130). All guests with children are encouraged to stop by a Guest Services Kiosk (near sections 101 and 130) to get a Child Locator Wristband when they first arrive.
Lost or Stolen Tickets
Lost or stolen tickets can be replaced only under certain conditions. Please contact the Children's Mercy Park Ticket Office for replacement guidelines.

Media Entrance and Check-In
Media Will Call will open 3 hours prior to Sporting Kansas City match start times. Media Will Call is located on the west side of Children's Mercy Park between the west box office and west gate. All credentialed members of the media may enter the stadium at the Media entrance just south of the west box office 2.5 hours prior to Sporting Kansas City match start times. Media check-in is located on the west side of Children's Mercy Park located in the West Tower. The photo work room is located in the southwest corner of the field level of the stadium. Media utilizing the photo work room or press area should utilize the press elevator located near the media check-in entry.
Official Sporting Kansas City team merchandise is available at the Sporting Style team stores located on the North end of the Sprint Plaza and main concourse near sections 114 and 131. Also located on the South end of the Sprint Plaza is the container store. In addition, there are Scarf Bars located on the concourse near section 101 and 122 and in the lobby of the UMB North Premium Entry. UMB Field Club, Ameritas Shield Club and Suite ticket holders can also access the Ameritas Shield Club merchandise stand to purchase Sporting Kansas City merchandise. The Boulevard Members Club also has a merchandise stand for Members ticket holders only. Merchandise locations may vary for other stadium events (concert, etc.).
Noise Making Devices
Musical instruments or any types of noise making devices not approved by Sporting Kansas City are not permitted inside Children's Mercy Park. This includes, but is not limited to, items such as whistles, vuvuzelas, air horns, boom boxes and other electronic sound devices.

Fans are reminded that attempting to enter or access the playing field without the proper credential may be considered trespassing and is grounds for immediate ejection and arrest.

Only personal radios with headphones are permitted inside Children's Mercy Park. So that all fans enjoy the action on the field, radios operated without headphones are not allowed.
Sporting Club and Children's Mercy Park encourage all fans to recycle. The recycling program at Children's Mercy Park includes: recycling containers on the Sprint Plaza, at security checkpoint locations and along the concourse and in the suites. Please check the signage on the recycling containers to ensure you’re recycling the proper items such as plastic, glass and aluminum. We hope all fans may follow Children's Mercy Park’s recycling initiatives during their event day experience.
In accordance with MLS and Sporting Club security procedures, fans may not exit and re-enter the stadium using the same ticket. There will be no exceptions for this policy.
There are 32 public restrooms located throughout Children's Mercy Park. All men, women and family restrooms are ADA accessible and equipped with a baby changing station. Please ask any staff member for directions to the closest restroom.
Radio frequency scanning devices are prohibited in Children's Mercy Park.
In accordance with current MLS Best Practices for stadium security, all fans may be subject to security inspection prior to entry inside Children's Mercy Park, including a physical pat down and inspection of all items brought inside the facility. Fans can assist in this procedure by removing their hats and emptying their pockets of any items before reaching the security staff member. Fans that elect not to consent to this security screening may be denied entry inside Children's Mercy Park. Due to this security procedure, fans are encouraged to enter the stadium at least 45 minutes prior to kick-off. Children's Mercy Park reserves the right to not allow a fan into Children's Mercy Park that does not follow rules from Security Personnel.
Segway and Tri-Bikes
For the safety of all guests at Children's Mercy Park, Segway and Tri-Bikes are not permitted inside the stadium. Segway and Tri-Bikes will be allowed for any ADA reason but need to be approved by Children's Mercy Park staff first. Fans holding tickets for the Signature Level have access to the Signature Lounge located on the west side of the stadium. Please enter Children's Mercy Park through the West or North Premium Entry for elevator access up to the 5th level.
Skateboarding and rollerblading are not permitted within Children's Mercy Park and the Sprint Plaza area. “Roller shoes,” which are athletic shoes with retractable wheels, are also not allowed.
Smoking is allowed in Children's Mercy Park only in the designated smoking areas. The designated smoking areas are located outside all entrance gates. Guests exiting the gates will be permitted re-entry for smoking. Smoking outside designated areas is not allowed and will not be tolerated. Electronic Cigarettes are treated just like regular cigarettes in that you must go to the proper smoking areas. Any fan smoking an electronic cigarette will be asked to stop and head to the designated areas.
Located on the west side of Children's Mercy Park (Sporting Way), the Sprint Plaza opens 2 hours prior to kickoff for Sporting Kansas City matches to all ticketed guests. The Sprint Plaza features pre-game activities and fun for all ages.
Fans entering Children's Mercy Park are asked to enjoy the game from the comfort of the seat indicated on their ticket. Please keep in mind that when you stand, you block the view of other fans behind you. It is not Sporting Club’s intent to limit fan’s enjoyment of the game and encourages cheering after great plays, but continuous standing in seating areas will not be tolerated.
Standing to watch the game is permitted for those sitting in the Boulevard Members
Stand, Bud Light Landing, south stand and north side of the main concourse level (Standing Room Only and Drink Rail Section). All areas must stay clear for fans using restrooms, purchasing concessions and using other facilities located on the concourses. Standing Room Only (SRO) lines are painted along the main concourse. If you have SRO tickets please find a spot to stand in those designated areas and do not block walkways or isles. Please follow the directions of Children's Mercy Park personnel.
Children's Mercy Park welcomes fans with strollers. However, strollers are prohibited from all stadium seating sections and concourse areas. All strollers must be checked in at the nearest Guest Services Kiosk during the game, located near sections 101 and 130 on the concourse. Premium ticket holders must be checked in at each respective concierge desk.
There are 37 suites at Children's Mercy Park. The design, build-out and furnishings inside the suites match the overall architectural characteristics of the stadium. Tailgating at Children's Mercy Park
- Tailgating is allowed in Lots E, F, STM, I, D & CAB. It is prohibited in the NFM & Legends Lots.
- Tailgating that extends into adjacent parking spaces is not permitted.
- Tailgating is limited to the space in front of or behind your vehicle. There must be a 10ft drive lane between tailgates to allow emergency vehicles an unobstructed path.
- Tailgating in the grass areas is allowed, however tailgating on sidewalks or walkways is prohibited.
- Charcoal & gas grills are permitted in the lots where tailgating is allowed.
- All guests must dispose of garbage and coals in the appropriate bins.
- All guests must follow the instructions given by the stadium personnel.

With a covered roof over all seating sections and per stadium safety policies, umbrellas are not needed or permitted inside Children's Mercy Park. Please leave them inside your vehicles prior to entering the stadium.
Fans are not permitted to bring firearms or any other weapons at Children's Mercy Park. Law enforcement officials attending the event are permitted to bring a firearm inside the stadium if he/she is designated by their department and is in compliance with Kansas officer standards and training board requirements. If you planning on doing this, please check in with Sporting Security at the Security Entrance on the East side of Children's Mercy Park.
The will call windows are located at the west box office, on the west side of the stadium between the Sprint and West Gates. The west box office is open 3 hours prior to kick-off and closes at halftime/intermission. Will Call tickets can be claimed only by the person whose name appears on the will call ticket envelope. State or government photo identification is required along with credit card verification.
