Prior to joining Sporting Kansas City on August 9, 2010, I spent four years with the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball. Before beginning my career in professional sports, I spent ten years in the U.S. Army and then taught U.S. History. I have been married for nine years and have two daughters.
