Group Fundraising
KC American Sportservice (KCAS) is pleased to open a limited number of concession stands at Sporting Park to non-profit groups in the KC area as a way to raise funds for their organizations. No more bake sales, gift wrap sales, or car washes. You supply the manpower, they supply the rest! A few FAQ’s to help you get started...
What does my group need?
- Committed, service-oriented volunteers
- A 501C3
- A six-game minimum commitment
- Volunteers must be 21 and over
- A designated group leader
Do we provide training?
Yes, all volunteers must attend an orientation/training class which includes proper service of alcohol, as well as how to operate the stand and equipment. Training classes are set for:
- February 18, 9am - 12pm
- February 22, 6pm - 9pm
- February 25, 9am - 12pm
- February 29, 6pm - 9pm
- March 3, 9am - 12pm
- March 7, 6pm - 9pm
These classes will be held in the Members' Club at Sporting Park.
How much can my group earn?
Donations vary depending upon attendance and sales. Sportservice will donate $60 per volunteer or 14% commission of food sales per volunteer that is scheduled and participates per event.
What are the report times for each game?
Volunteers must report three hours before the event start time. Games usually last two hours and there is usually one hour of clean-up time. All together, it is approximately a six-hour time commitment.
When are the next events?
Sporting Kansas City's season opener is set for Saturday, March 17th. The next events are March 25th, March 31st and April 2nd.
