Parking for USMNT public training and World Cup Qualifier at LSP

All parking is free; fans are encouraged to arrive early for events

All fans attending LIVESTRONG Sporting Park for the United States Men’s National Team public training at 10:30 a.m. CT on Sunday, Oct. 14 or the FIFA World Cup Qualifier between the United States and Guatemala at 6 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Oct. 16 are advised to follow the below instructions for parking at the venue. All parking is free and fans are encouraged to arrive early for both events.

Detailed instructions for accessing the designated lots are as follows:

 

Please note: There is NO vehicular or pedestrian traffic allowed at Kansas Speedway

 

LOT A – Parking pass only; not accessible via Village West Parkway.

 

From I-435 N & S: Exit at Parallel Parkway East. After exiting proceed East to 98th St. Take a right on 98th St. and another right at France Family Dr. At Nebraska Furniture Mart, turn right into the lot as instructed by parking personnel.

 

From the West: Follow Parallel Parkway to Prairie Crossing and take a right. At Nebraska Furniture Mart, turn left into the lot as instructed by parking personnel.

 

Lot D – Parking pass only; not accessible via Village West Parkway

 

I-435 N & S: Exit at Parallel Pkwy East. Proceed East to 98th St. Take a right on 98th St. and another right at France Family Dr. At Cabela's, take a left and then an immediate right into the lot as instructed by parking personnel.

 

From I-70: Take I-435 North. Exit at Parallel Pkwy East. After exiting proceed East to 98th St. Take a right on 98th St. and another right at France Family Dr. At Cabela's, take a left and then an immediate right into the lot as instructed by parking personnel.

 

GENERAL PARKING

CommunityAmerica Ballpark and Outer Lots at jcpenney/Target can be accessed from the west and south from I-70 at the 110th St. exit and from the north and east from Parallel Parkway

Legends Parking Lots can be accessed from the west and south from I-70 at the 110th St. exit and from the north and east from Parallel Parkway. Parking is available on the 2nd and 3rd floors only of the Legends Parking Garage and the outer perimeter of the parking lot as directed by parking personnel.

Outer Lots at Cabela’s spaces will be directed by parking personnel and can be accessed from the west and south from I-435 at the State Ave. exit and from the north and east from Parallel Parkway.

Hollywood Casino parking is also available for the USA-GUA match on Oct. 16 and includes a shuttle service to/from the stadium. Those wishing to use this parking must be 21 years or older and must use the shuttle, which will drop-off and pick-up at the corner of Sporting Way and State Ave.

On Sunday, the U.S. Men’s National Team will hold a public training session at 10:30 a.m. CT at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park. Parking lots open at 9 a.m. CT and fans are invited to watch the United States train, featuring Sporting Kansas City’s Graham Zusi along with Tim Howard, Clint Dempsey, Carlos Bocanegra and the full 22-player roster, in an event open to the general public at no cost. Fans who pre-register on ussoccer.com will be entered to have a chance to meet U.S. head coach Jurgen Klinsmann at the stadium prior to the training session.

Immediately after the practice, Sporting KC and The Legends will co-host a special fan-friendly SoccerFest from 12-2 p.m. CT with autograph and photo opportunities with Sporting KC players in attendance. Fans are encouraged to bring items to have signed and the event will also feature children’s soccer activities, including inflatables and an appearance by the Sporting KC mascot Blue. The SoccerFest will be located at the center courtyard, as well as various locations throughout The Legends.

These events lead up to Tuesday’s decisive FIFA World Cup Qualifier between the United States and Guatemala at 6 p.m. CT at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park. The sold-out match will be shown live on ESPN2, WatchESPN and the Univision family as the teams play for a berth in the final round of qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Parking lots open at 3 p.m. CT on Tuesday, three hours prior to kick-off.
