Community appearances, World Cup qualifiers and Sporting KC's return to MLS action

After three weeks off from MLS action, Sporting Kansas City returns to the pitch this week to take on Western Conference leading FC Dallas. Sporting Kansas City midfielder Paulo Nagamura will be at Kansas Sampler on Tuesday night signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. Also, don't forget to register for the Rally House shopping spree which includes a signed Sporting KC jersey and tickets to an upcoming match.

USA vs. Honduras ESPN, UniMas Support the U.S. men's national team as they continue their quest to secure a spot in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Sporting KC defender Matt Besler has started each of the past three qualifiers and midfielder Graham Zusi is expected to return to the starting lineup after missing last Tuesday's match due to yellow card accumulation.

Come out to Price Chopper and meet Sporting KC second-year defender Kyle Miller. An Overland Park, Kan. native, Miller was drafted in the 2012 MLS Supplemental Draft out of Rockhurst University. As a youth, Miller played for Blue Valley Soccer Club and the Sporting KC Academy while attending St. Thomas Aquinas High School.

Sporting KC at FC Dallas Watch on KSMO-TV After three weeks off from MLS play, Sporting Kansas City returns to action this week for a match against Western Conference leading FC Dallas. Sporting KC is coming off a 2-1 loss to the Montreal Impact in their last MLS match and a 1-0 loss to Orlando City in a fourth round Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match. FC Dallas advanced into the Open Cup quarterfinals with a 3-0 win over the Houston Dynamo, but lost to the Portland Timbers, 1-0, last Saturday.
