The NCAA men's soccer season kicks off this weekend with SKC Academy products across the country in action. Thirty players from the SKC Academy are currently playing collegiate soccer including five at West Virginia, four at Drake and 21 additional players spread out across 20 schools. Two players - Zach Wright at North Carolina (pictured, above) and Alex Kaddah at Denver - feature for preseason top five schools while another three - Ryan Krutz at Notre Dame, Bryce Gibson at Creighton and Wes White at Coastal Carolina - will begin the season ranked in the top 25.

West Virginia midfielder JoJo Piatzcyc, a 2016 All-MAC First Team selection, will miss the 2017 season after sustaining a knee injury prior to the start of preseason.
