Mikey Lopez

Drafted in the first round of the 2013 MLS SuperDraft as a Generation adidas signing after two seasons at the University of North Carolina, Lopez was the ACC Freshman of the Year as a Tar Heel. He is a member of the U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team, helping them qualify for the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey

College (North Carolina): Spent two seasons at North Carolina ... Started all 21 matches he appeared in during 2012 and scored two goals and one assist ... In 2011 he was voted the ACC Freshman of the Year after appearing in 25 matches (21 starts) and scoring three goals four assists.

Club: Played for Classic Elite ... Was the Under-18 Academy Team Captain in 2010.

US National Team: Regular call-up on the US Under-20 national team ... U.S. Under-18 National Team member during two training camps (February and April) ... Recently named to the US Under-20 Men's National Team (May 20th, 2013) that will participate in the 2013 Toulon Tournament from May 28-June 8th in France.
