Career Summary

2016: Ualefi was the only Swope Park Rangers player to start every regular-season game in 2016, adding four assists and placing second on the team in minutes played with 2,511 – 29 minutes behind Christian Duke. He recorded his first assist of the season against Rio Grande Valley FC on June 8 before notching another four days later at Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2. Added his third assist on the game-winner at Seattle Sounders FC 2 on June 26 and his fourth against Tulsa Roughnecks FC on Sept. 10. Started the USL Cup Playoffs opener against LA Galaxy II in the Western Conference Quarterfinals on Sept. 30, recording an assist on the third goal of the 3-0 victory. Suffered a torn ACL in his right knee heading into the Conference Semifinal against Orange County Blues FC on Oct. 9. Made his Sporting Kansas City debut as a substitute at Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the CONCACAF Champions League on Aug. 23 before starting against the same opponent on Sept. 13.

Before USL: Ualefi spent his early career in his native Brazil, joining Corinthians’ Academy in 2007 and advancing through the ranks to the senior team in 2012. On his way through the cub, Ualefi had the opportunity to train with three-time FIFA World Player of the Year Ronaldo. In 2012, Ualefi spent time with Flamengo’s Academy before returning to Corinthians in 2013. While with Corinthians, Ualefi won the 2011 IX Copa Ouro and Mundialito de Clubes Under-17 tournaments and his side was also victorious in the 2012 Copa Sao Paulo de Juniores. 

International: When he was younger, Ualefi was a member of Brazil’s Under-15 National Team.
