2010: Started his professional career with Real Zaragoza's reserve team, Zaragoza B.
YOUTH: Played in Deportivo La Coruna's youth system from 2000-08 and then for Real Zaragoza for the 2008-09 season. Was on the Cameroon U-20 team that finished second in the 2011 African Youth Championship.
PERSONAL: He is the son of goalkeeper Jacques Songo'o, who played in Europe for over a decade and was called up to the Cameroon National Team for four World Cups (1990, 1994, 1998, 2002). His brother is Portland Timbers midfielder Franck Songo'o.
