The Sporting Kansas City Under-13 and Under-14 Juniors returned from their trip to Milwaukee with wins in each of their four matches in the Midwest Developmental League. On Saturday, the U13's posted a 5-1 win and the U14's followed with a 6-3 victory over the FC Milwaukee Nationals. On Sunday, the winning ways continued against Milwaukee Bavarians Juniors with the U13's prevailing 3-2 and the U14's capping the weekend with a shutout and 3-0 victory.
The U13's (9-1-1) now sit in second place in the Great Lakes Division, six points clear of Chicago Fire Academy. The U14's (6-4-1) moved into a three-way tie for third place ahead of the 2011-12 MDL Playoffs in Libertyville, Illinois from July 6-8 .
