Under-12

Tom Howe's squad, playing a year up in the U13 age group of the NPL's Midwest Developmental League, picked up a pair of victories to move atop the Gateway Division with nine points (3-1-0) on the season. On Saturday, the squad were 5-2 winners over Springfield SC and the offense continued to click on Sunday in a 9-2 victory over TSC Hurricane. The U12's will face the River City Rovers on Sunday at Elizabethtown Sports Park in Kentucky.

Under-14

Matt Trummp's side matched their U12 counterparts with a 5-2 triumph on Saturday against Springfield SC. On Sunday, the team earned a 1-1 draw against TSC Hurricane -- the first points the Tulsa club had dropped in league play this season. The Sporting KC U12's are now 1-1-2 on season and are tied for third place with five points in Gateway division. They'll ready for a match-up with the River City Rovers this Sunday.

Under-16 and Under-18

After garnering national attention from Soccer America last week, the U16 and U18 Academy teams led by Jon Parry were featured on TopDrawerSoccer.com this week. That's what happens when you're a combined 8-0-0 to start the year in the highest level of competition available for club soccer in the United States.

Both teams kept their perfect records intact with a pair of 2-1 victories over Andromeda FC on Saturday. The U16's got first half goals from Tucker Stephenson (3rd of year) and Cole Stevenson (4th of year), while the U18's left it late with Eduardo Moreno scoring in the 87th and 90th minutes for the comeback. Moreno now has six goals, most among players in the Frontier Division (13 teams) and third most among all players in the Central Conference (26 teams).

Sitting in first place in the Frontier Division for both age groups, the two teams will remain at home this weekend to host Real Colorado on Saturday.
