Peterson Joseph started and played almost the entire match as Haiti defeated Grenada 2-0 on Sunday to qualify for the 2012 Caribbean Cup. It was a must win for Haiti who were in third place (in Group 6) heading into the final matchday. Joseph didn't play in Haiti's match against Guyana (1-0 win) but was a second half sub against French Guiana (1-0 loss). Sunday's victory put Haiti on top and a spot in Group B of the Carribean Cup.

They will face Antigua & Barbuda, Trinidad & Tobago, and Martinique in group stage play with the top two teams advancing to the semifinals. The Caribbean Cup will take place from December 7th to 16th with Antigua & Barbuda as the hosts. Haiti won the tournament in 2007 but since then has failed to make it out of the group stage.
