Check out photos below from the Sporting KC U16 and U18 Academy teams in U.S. Soccer Development Academy action against the Houston Dynamo this past weekend at the Houston Amateur Sports Park.
The U16's (4-8-2) got goals from Joey Piatczyc and Logan Lucas in a 3-2 shorthanded loss on Saturday. On Sunday, Nic Jaimes and Matthew Lewis each got on the scoresheet in a 5-2 defeat against the Dynamo, who are currently in second place in the Central Conference's Frontier Division.
The U18's (6-6-2) fell 2-0 in their first match on Saturday, but opened up the scoring with goals from Isai Gutierrez, Eduardo Moreno and Darby Cronin in a 4-3 loss on Sunday. Moreno now has nine goals in the 2012-13 season, most among all players in the Frontier Division.
