Audio: Besler, Feilhaber postgame

For the second straight January, the U.S. Men's National Team opened their year on Tuesday with three Sporting Kansas City players taking the field. Think about that. Three of our guys -- most of any team last night -- playing at the highest level and representing Sporting KC on the sport's international stage with a global audience watching.

Sidenote, which is more impressive? Four players on the 2012 MLS Best XI or three playing in a match for the U.S. Men's National Team? Comment below.

In 2012, it was Graham Zusi making his USMNT debut alongside Teal Bunbury in the starting lineup and C.J. Sapong earning his first career cap as a second-half substitute. Last night, Matt Besler garnered his first international minutes and was joined by Zusi on the starting sheet, with Benny Feilhaber entering at halftime for his 40th international appearance.

The scoreless draw with Canada may have lacked in sizzling soccer, but consider it a success any time we get the chance to see three of our own suit up for the Stars & Stripes.
