JOIN MYERS AND FEILHABER FOR OFF THE PITCH TAPING TONIGHT
Sporting Kansas City will tape this month's episode of Off the Pitch tonight from 6:30-7:30 p.m. CT at Hooters at the Legends (1712 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, KS) with special guests Chance Myers and Benny Feilhaber. Please join us at the filming tonight and have the opportunity to mingle with the guys.
The show, hosted by Callum Williams and Jake Yadrich, will be broadcast on KSMO-TV from 6-7 p.m. CT on Saturday prior to Sporting KC's match against the Portland Timbers.
SPORTING KC TO HOST PORTLAND TIMBERS ON SATURDAY
Eastern Conference leaders Sporting Kansas City will host the Portland Timbers at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at Sporting Park. Tickets, including standing-room only tickets, are available in limited supply through Ticketmaster and at Sporting Park Box Offices.
The match will be broadcast live on KSMO-TV with coverage beginning at 6 p.m. CT with an episode of Off the Pitch. The match will also air live on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Gran D 1340 AM.
BUDWEISER BEER GARDEN TO DEBUT AT SPORTING PARK
All new and all inclusive, the Budweiser Beer Garden at Sporting Park provides the ultimate pre-game place for all-you-can-eat stadium fare and all-you-can-drink beverages, including Budweiser products, soda and water. Guests may also purchase a Red Bull signature cocktail in addition to the variety of all-inclusive menu options.
Conveniently located on the south end of the Sprint Plaza, the Budweiser Beer Garden will serve supporters from two hours prior to kickoff up until 15 minutes before first kick. The area will also offer fan-friendly fesitivities that include music and tailgating games, and is now a gameday fixture for all remaining Sporting KC matches in 2013.
Tickets to the Budweiser Beer Garden are available to anyone age 21 and up, and can be purchased for $25 online at Ticketmaster.com or at the Sporting Park Box Offices on the day of game while supplies last. Current Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members receive a 20% discount and can purchase Budweiser Beer Garden tickets for just $20 by entering the STM Special Offer Code on Ticketmaster.com (contact Client Services, if needed) or showing your Season Ticket Member card at the Sporting Park Box Offices.
SPORTING KC SEASON TICKETS SOLD OUT FOR 2013 SEASON
Sporting Kansas City announced on Tuesday that the club's allotment of 14,000 season tickets for the 2013 season at Sporting Park are sold out. Beginning today, prospective Season Ticket Members may join the club's Season Ticket Member waiting list by placing a $50 non-refundable deposit per season ticket request.
The implementation of the Season Ticket Member waiting list does not affect current Season Ticket Members.
Sporting Kansas City currently lead all MLS teams in the total number of new Season Ticket Members for 2013 and have averaged over a 90% Season Ticket Member renewal rate for the last three seasons.
Today, Sporting Kansas City will also begin sales for new five-game 'Pick Plans.' All plans include the team's match on July 3 against the Vancouver Whitecaps FC as well as four additional Sporting KC matches of the buyer's choice, including U.S. Open Cup, CONCACAF Champions League or any of the remaining MLS regular season games.
GRINDERS FAVORITES NOW AVAILABLE INSIDE BOULEVARD MEMBERS CLUB
Whet your appetite, Grinders is now serving up five of their signature items inside the Boulevard Members Club at Sporting Park. The popular local eatery, located in the heart of the Crossroads Arts District in downtown Kansas City, will be among the Boulevard Members Club food choices starting Saturday thanks to a new partnership with Sporting Kansas City for the 2013 season.
In addition to the full food and beverage menu available inside the Boulevard Members Club, Grinders will now be offering up their tater tots, meatball sandwiches, philly cheesesteaks, chicken strips and chicken wings at Sporting Kansas City home games. The Boulevard Members Club is open to all Members Stand ticket holders before and during matches, then welcomes all ticket holders inside its doors for postgame festivities.

MIKEY LOPEZ JOINS U.S. UNDER-20 MEN'S NATIONAL TEAM
Sporting Kansas City midfielder Mikey Lopez has joined the U.S. Under 20 Men's National Team for a training camp at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. One of 23 players selected by head coach Tab Ramos, Lopez will participate in the camp through April 29 in preparation for the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey from June 21 thru July 13.
Lopez played in four of the United States' five matches at the 2013 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship earlier this year, as the U.S. finished tournament runners-up in Mexico. The U.S. Under-20's are together again for the first time since the regional championship and will conclude the weeklong camp with a match against the Chivas USA reserves on April 28.
ACADEMY'S PALMER-BROWN NAMED TO U.S. U15 NATIONAL TEAM
Sporting Kansas City U16 Academy defender Erik Palmer-Brown was one of 19 players named to the United States Under-15 Boys' National Team on Monday for the Tournament Delle Nazioni, U.S. Soccer announced. Head coach Tony Lepore will lead the squad in the 12-team international tournament held in Grandisca, Italy from April 26 - May 6.
Palmer-Brown is currently attending the U.S. Soccer Residency Program in Bradenton, Fla. for the Spring Semester. The Lee's Summit, Mo. resident last joined the United States U-15 National Team in September 2012 for a training camp.
The U.S. will compete in Group A and open the tournament against hosts Italy on April 30 before playing Chile on May 2 and Slovenia on May 3. The semifinals will take place May 4 with the winners advancing to the championship match on May 5.
SPORTING PARK TO HOST 2013 WALK MS ON SATURDAY
Sporting Park is proud to host the 2013 Greater Kansas City Walk MS on Saturday, April 27. Over 2,500 individuals are expected to participate in the event, which will feature one-, three- and six-mile routes that are fully accessible for people of all abilities.

SPORTING PARK TO HOST U.S. MNT IN WORLD CUP QUALIFIER
Sporting Park will host the U.S. Men's National Team on Oct. 11 in the team's final home qualifying match for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The United States returns to Sporting Park to play Jamaica, live on the ESPN family, WatchESPN and UniMas. Kickoff time and ticket information will be released at a later date.
Sporting Park, home to Major League Soccer's Sporting Kansas City, will host the U.S. Men's National Team for the third time since opening in June 2011. The state-of-the-art, $200+ million venue will also host the 2013 MLS All-Star Game on July 31.
Sporting Club recently announced the launch of The Victory Project, a new community-driven foundation that will meaningfully and tangibly impact children with cancer in the Kansas City region.
In addition to raising money, the organization hopes to provide encouragement to children in their daily battles with cancer. At each Sporting Kansas City home match, Sporting Club welcomes a special guest affected by cancer, and their family, to the Victory Suite at Sporting Park and recognizes the individual in a special pre-match ceremony.

SPORTING PARK TO HOST 2013 MLS ALL-STAR GAME, VERMES NAMED COACH
Kansas City will be the host city for the 2013 MLS All-Star Game. The annual showcase event will feature three days of festivities, culminating in a match between the League's top players and a renowned international club on Wednesday, July 31 at Sporting Park, home of Sporting Kansas City.
The 2013 MLS All-Star Game will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. CT on the ESPN, Univision, TSN and RDS family of networks. Exact networks will be announced at a later date. Sporting Kansas City Manager Peter Vermes, a finalist for MLS Coach of the Year each of the last two seasons, will coach the 2013 MLS All-Stars.
The 2013 All-Star Game will mark the 10th time that an elite international club has played the MLS All-Stars, who are 6-2-1 in those matches. In addition to honoring the best players in MLS, the game has featured successful, world-famous clubs such as Manchester United (2010 & 2011), Everton FC (2009), Chelsea FC (2006 & 2012), and Chivas de Guadalajara (2003). The opponent for this year's game will be announced at a later date.
