#TGIF: Puma Time

Earlier this week, Major League Soccer opened their voting for the 2013 MLS awards. And while early consensus among the voting block leads to the Goalkeeper of the Year coming out of the Western Conference, we would like to remind voters that the reigning Goalkeepr of the Year might have a say in this matter.

Jimmy Nielsen enters the final day of the regular season with 13 shutouts (tied for League-best), a 0.88 GAA (League-best) and 16 wins (tied for League-best).

And while his save total is lower than that his fellow netminders, Nielsen has been a rock for Sporting KC in 2013 and has made the big saves when called upon.

Exhibit A: This free kick save against the Philadelphia Union in the first game of the season that helped propel the squad to a 3-1 road victory.

See you tomorrow, Philly!
