U.S. Youth Futsal Nationals is the largest youth futsal tournament sanctioned by U.S. Soccer and is now in its eight year of competition. U.S. Youth Futsal has 60 leagues in cities across the country and hosts nine regional tournaments that serve as qualifiers for Nationals.
"There's been a tremendous amount of growth in the last 5-6 years for futsal here in the United States. The atmosphere is unbelievable and that's what we'ved wanted to promote for futsal," said Parry, who also serves as the Executive Director for U.S. Youth Futsal. "I think the biggest thing for me is now, this year, we have a very diverse group. We have teams represented from 22 states across the United States, which is amazing. I think what is going to happen in the United States is that you are going to see better and better soccer players, and hopefully that translates into the United States doing very well in the World Cup's."
