SPORTING KC AIM FOR BERTH IN DISNEY PRO SOCCER CLASSIC FINAL
Sporting KC faces the Montreal Impact tonight in the final match of the group stage at the Disney Pro Soccer Classic. The match is scheduled to kickoff at 7 p.m. CT and will be live streamed on SportingKC.com/GameOn.


Sporting Kansas City is in good position to advance to the championship match after earning victories in their previous two group stage games. If Sporting KC win or draw, they will advance outright. The team can also reach the final with a one-goal loss through tournament tiebreakers.


Earlier today, Sporting KC defeated NASL opponent Indy Eleven 4-2 as the clubs met for the second time during preseason. Claudio Bieler completed a hat trick and assisted Mikey Lopez on the fourth goal of the match.


SPORTING KC DEFEAT FLUMINENSE FC U-23'S IN ORLANDO
Sporting Kansas City defeated Fluminense FC U-23's in the Disney Pro Soccer Classic on Saturday. Paulo Nagamura (2) and Jimmy Medranda each scored in the 3-0 victory over the Brazilian side. Sporting Kansas City Designated Player Claudio Bieler assisted on all three tallies.


Earlier on Saturday, Sporting KC defeated Florida Gulf Coast University 3-1 courtesy of goals from MLS SuperDraft selection Adnan Gabeljic (2) and Jacob Peterson.


SPORTING KC CONTINUES INNOVATION WITH DEBUT OF FAN ENGAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY FROM EXPERIENCE
Sporting Kansas City announced on Tuesday a partnership with fan engagement technology company Experience to empower Sporting KC fans with the ability to create memorable events by purchasing seat upgrades and one-of-a-kind experiences at Sporting Park, all from their mobile device, beginning with the 2014 season.


Experience's innovative technology will be seamlessly integrated into Sporting Kansas City's existing Sporting Club Uphoria mobile application for iOS and Android. Currently, Sporting KC fans can use Sporting Club Uphoria on game day to view video highlights and live stats among other features. The Experience technology will also further enrich Sporting KC's fan database, allowing the club to better tailor marketing offers.


SPORTING KC PLAYERS GIVE BACK
On Sunday, Sporting Kansas City players and The Victory Project teamed up with USL PRO affiliate Orlando City SC to visit the special kids staying at the Give Kids the World Village located in Kissimmee, Florida. Dom Dwyer, C.J. Sapong, Christian Duke, Oriol Rosell, Aurelien Collin and Seth Sinovic participated in the Village’s “Candyland” theme night and spent time at the 70-acre, non-profit “story book” resort, where children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacations.

REGISTRATION OPEN FOR SPORTING KC ACADEMY CAMPS
Sporting Kansas City will again offer a series youth soccer camps in 2014 for boys and girls for all ages.


Registration is now open for all eight camps with each participant receiving an Adidas Sporting KC shirt. Five of this year's camps will be held at Swope Soccer Village, two will be held at St. Teresa's Academy in Brookside and one will be at Overland Park Soccer Complex.

FC NASHVILLE HEROES ADDED AS NEWEST ACADEMY AFFILIATE
FC Nashville Heroes of Nashville, Tenn. have officially become Sporting Kansas City's newest Academy Affiliate in the Sporting Club Network. The club is the most Eastern Academy Affiliate, expanding the program's reach into another state while giving players of that region a direct path to the Sporting Kansas City senior team.


Sporting Nashville was founded by longtime U.S. Men's National Team player Desmond Armstrong. Throughout his playing career, Armstrong had 81 caps for the senior national team, including appearances in the 1988 Summer Olympics and all three of the United States games in the 1990 FIFA World Cup. He was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2012.


As an Academy Affiliate member, Sporting Nashville Heroes becomes an extension of the Sporting KC Academy and therefore an extension of the club's scouting network. The relationship between the Sporting Club Network and Sporting Nashville Heroes will play an important part in the overall growth of soccer in the Midwest by elevating the level of youth soccer in the region while also offering extensive new benefits that will directly impact the improvement of these players.
