Sporting Kansas City has always encouraged fans to follow their favorite team on the road. So much so that Sporting KC's owners have volunteered to pay for match tickets for fans that wish to attend a road match. That has led to mammoth road support including more than 800 fans traveling to both Colorado and Dallas over the past two years.
Now, with the help of American Family Insurance, a Sporting Kansas City road trip is about to get a whole lot better. Fans can now register for a free road trip to see Sporting Kansas City take on the San Jose Earthquakes on October 16. The match will be played at Avaya Stadium, the Earthquakes’ new state-of-the-art venue that opened on March 22, 2015.

The contest is open to all Sporting KC fans 21 years of age and older who live in Kansas or Missouri. The sweepstakes will run until 11:59:59 PM (CST) on September 13.
There are two ways to register for the contest. The first is by visiting https://contests.amfam.com/sportingkc and filling out the entry form. Contestants can also register at the American Family Insurance booth at the following Sporting KC home matches: July 18, August 1, August 15 and August 19.
One grand prize winner will be awarded for this contest. That winner will receive:
- Airfare for Four (4)
- Four (4) game tickets to the Sporting KC vs. San Jose Earthquakes on October 16
- $1,000 bank card (winner only)
- $125 bank card for each of the three (3) guests and winner for transportation, shopping, etc.
- Two (2) hotel rooms for two (2) nights in close proximity to the away match location (October 16-18, 2015)
