Four Sporting Kansas City players will be on international duty this week representing their national teams during the current FIFA fixture window:
- Krisztian Nemeth and Hungary will resume UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying at 1:45 p.m. CT on Friday by hosting group leaders Romania.
- Marcel de Jong and Canada will kick off their home-and-away series versus Belize at 6:30 p.m. CT on Friday in the third round of CONCACAF qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
- Matt Besler returns to the U.S. Men's National Team for their international friendly against Peru at 6 p.m. CT on Friday (live on FOX Sports 1, UniMas and UDN) at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.
- Erik Palmer-Brown and the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team will open the 2015 Stevan Vilotic-Cele Tournament by playing Serbia on Thursday and France on Friday.

On Tuesday, the KC Staycation with the Marriott sweepstakes will launch on SportingKC.com. Voting will end at 12 p.m. CT on Friday in the Westlake Ace Hardware Helpful Moment of the Month online poll. Three of Sporting KC's top plays in August are nominated and all who cast a vote will receive a $5 off coupon to their local Westlake Ace Hardware store. In addition, one voter will be randomly selected to receive a $300 gift card to Westlake Ace Hardware, an authentic Sporting KC jersey and two tickets to an upcoming match.
