Krisztian Nemeth's incredible finish vs Portland nominated for MLS Goal of the Week

It's been quite a week for Krisztian Nemeth.

Three days after scoring the game-tying goal at Philadelphia in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final, the Hungarian striker scored the game-winner in Sporting KC's 1-0 win over Portland Timbers on Saturday evening. Nemeth's 83rd-minute goal is one of five nominees for Major League Soccer Goal of the Week.

Nemeth's goal was his tenth of the regular season and received wide acclaim from his teammates.

Voting is open at MLSsoccer.com through Friday morning at 1:59 a.m. CT. Benny Feilhaber (Week 8, 21), Dom Dwyer (Week 12), and Nemeth (Week 28) have all previously won the weekly award. At season's end, every MLS Goal of the Week will be up for AT&T MLS Goal of the Year.
