Sporting Kansas City can secure the club's fifth straight postseason berth with a victory at the San Jose Earthquakes in the team's first trip to Avaya Stadium at 10 p.m. CT on Friday. The match will be nationally televised on UniMas in addition to live coverage on SKCTV affiliates across the Midwest, including KMCI-TV 38 the Spot in Kansas City.


The 2015 MLS Generation adidas Cup Central Region Fall Event will conclude today on the Championship Field at Swope Soccer Village when the Sporting KC Academy U16's host the Columbus Crew U16's at 2 p.m. CT. The Sporting KC Academy U16's and U18's will then resume play in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy with a doubleheader starting at 10 a.m. CT on Saturday against the Texas Rush at Swope Soccer Village.

Beginning at 10 a.m. CT today, Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members may purchase three-game playoff ticket packages at a discounted price within any available seating category. The purchasing option is available through the Sporting KC Account Manager online and will be open until 10 a.m. CT on Monday, Oct. 19.


Sporting Kansas City defenders Kevin Ellis and Seth Sinovic will make a special appearance at the Price Chopper location (11700 W. 135th Street) in Overland Park, Kansas from 5:30-7 p.m. CT tonight. Both Sporting KC players will sign autographs for fans and take photos with customers as part of the meet and greet.


On Tuesday, Sporting Kansas City defenders Ike Opara and Chance Myers will be available for autographs from 6-7:30 p.m. CT at Rally House (9750 Quivira Road) in Lenexa, Kansas. Rally House will also be selling new 2015 U.S. Open Cup champions t-shirts while supplies last.


Sporting Kansas City defender Marcel de Jong has joined Canada for an international friendly against Ghana at 6:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. The 28-year-old has 38 career appearances for Canada, including seven starts in 2015.


A new episode of The Sporting KC Show will air live on 99.3 FM from 7-8 p.m. CT on Tuesday with hosts Nate Bukaty, Andy Gruenebaum and Carter Augustine. Fans can join the discussion by calling 913-491-8255.


This is the final week for Sporting Kansas City fans to enter the Gail's Harley Davidson "Sporting Cycle" sweepstakes. Ten entries will be randomly selected to win a pair of tickets for the team's regular season finale against the LA Galaxy on Oct. 25 and one of those ten individuals will win a Harley Davidson motorcycle custom designed with Sporting KC logos and details.
