The addition brings the number of players on the roster to 11 as the Rangers prepare to open their preseason camp next month. The 21-year-old was named to the Missouri Valley Conference First Team three times and was also selected to the NSCAA/Continental Tire All-Midwest Region Second Team as a sophomore and as a senior. The Bolton, Ontario native was also a MVC All-Freshman Team selection in 2012.

In addition to his college achievements, Gonzalez played for Sigma FC in the League1 Ontario division, scoring three goals in eight games in 2014. He also spent time with Toronto FCā€™s Academy in the USL Premier Development League in 2015, making seven appearances and again striking three times.
