If you live in the Kansas City market or if you are on social media, you have likely seen Sporting Kansas City's commercial that debuted on Sunday during Super Bowl 50. And if you are from Kansas City or familiar with rap/hip hop music, you may have noticed a familiar voice narrating the commercial.
Local rapper Tech N9ne joined Sports Radio 810 WHB this morning to discuss his role in the Super Bowl commercial that aired Sunday on KCTV5. Tech discussed his prior work with Sporting Kansas City - including an on-field performance at Children's Mercy Park during the 2013 MLS Cup Playoffs - and gave a detailed account of how the commercial came together.
