After a spectacular individual performance in Saturday's 2-0 win at New York Red Bulls, Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Tim Melia has earned his third MLS Save of the Week nomination. Melia's diving penalty kick save on New York's Bradley Wright-Phillips is one of eight goals nominated with Round 1 voting (available below) open until 10:55 p.m. CT on Tuesday.
UPDATE: Melia has advanced to the semifinal round of voting and is paired against San Jose goalkeeper David Bingham. Voting is open through tonight (Wednesday) at 10:55 p.m. CT.
