Every day, Kansas City area teachers and students work to make their community a better place to live and work. That's why Sporting KC and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City have teamed up this season to recognize Blue KC Sporting Samaritans, honoring these extraordinary individuals and their impact on Kansas City. Once a month, a Samaritan will be recognized on the pitch at Children's Mercy Park before a Sporting KC home game. In addition to this on-field experience, will also receive a behind the scenes VIP experience, four tickets to the game, a parking pass and a $50 gift card redeemable for Sporting KC merchandise.
Sporting KC fans can nominate members of their community to be the next Blue KC Sporting Samaritan by sharing their first-person experience with the nominee and why they should be selected at SportingKC.com/bluekc. Fans must be at least 21 years old to submit a form, and should nominate individuals who exhibit dedication and selflessness in their mission to improve the community and enrich the lives of others.
