The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Sporting Kansas City midfielder Roger Espinoza for one game and issued an undisclosed fine for conduct that endangered the safety of an opponent in the 85th minute of the match against Real Salt Lake on May 21. Espinoza will serve the suspension during Sporting KC’s next MLS match on Friday against D.C. United.
In addition, midfielder Jordi Quintilla will be recalled to Sporting Kansas City ahead of Friday's game. Quintilla has been on loan with the Swope Park Rangers since April 27.
