Sporting Kansas City collected a pair of wins last week, defeating Minnesota United FC 2-1 in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday before dispatching FC Dallas 2-0 on Sunday at Children's Mercy Park. Now tied for fourth in the MLS Western Conference standings, Sporting KC (6-8-3, 21 points) heads north of the border to visit the Montreal Impact (5-4-5, 20 points) on Saturday at Stade Saputo. The match will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT with three hours of live television coverage beginning at 6 p.m. CT on 38 The Spot and SKCTV. The interconference clash will also be broadcast on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM, and The Final Whistle: Sporting KC Postgame Show will air immediately after the game on 810 WHB.


Sporting Kansas City defender Matt Besler and winger Graham Zusi remain with the United States Men's National Team during its incredible run in Copa America Centenario. After defeating Ecuador 2-1 in last Thursday's quarterfinals, the U.S. will face Argentina at 8 p.m. CT Tuesday in the Copa America Centenario semifinals at NRG Stadium in Houston. The game will be televised live on FS1, Univision and Univision Deportes as the U.S. MNT meets the world's top-ranked team with a spot in the championship up for grabs. 
Regardless of Tuesday's result, the U.S. will play its final Copa America match this weekend. The third-place game is set for 7 p.m. CT Saturday at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona (FX, Univision, Univision Deportes). The Copa America Centenario Final will kick off at 7 p.m. CT Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Chile and Colombia meet in the tournament's other semifinal on Wednesday. No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power & Light District will continue its Copa America special for the rest of the competition, offering a complimentary appetizer to those who sign up and order any beer pitcher.

Children's Mercy Park will host a friendly between storied Mexican clubs C.F. Pachuca and Santos Laguna on Tuesday in conjunction with Univision Kansas City, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City and the Consulate of Mexico in Kansas City. The match is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT and tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com and at the Children's Mercy Park box office.


Ahead of Tuesday's match, Santos Laguna will host an open training session today at Children's Mercy Park. Activities will begin at 3:45 p.m. CT with a festival in the Boulevard Members Club. The event is open to the public and will feature live music, giveaways, and a radio remote from La Grande 1340 AM. Any fan who has purchased a ticket to the game or who purchases a ticket today will be invited to participate in a tour of Children's Mercy Park from 4:30-5:15 p.m. CT. Santos Laguna's training session will run from 6:15-7:15 p.m. CT, followed by a coaches clinic on the field at 7:30 p.m. CT.


A new episode of the Sporting Kansas City show will air Tuesday at 7 p.m. CT on Sports Radio 810 WHB. Hosts Nate Bukaty and Carter Augustine will recap a successful week for Sporting Kansas City and the U.S. Men's National Team and look ahead to the Copa America Centenario semifinal between Argentina and the United States at 8 p.m. CT that evening.


The Swope Park Rangers continued their inaugural season in the United Soccer League on Saturday, falling 3-1 to Oklahoma City Energy FC at Children's Mercy Victory Field at Swope Soccer Village. The Rangers (4-7-2, 14 points) are back on the road Sunday to face fellow Western Conference side Seattle Sounders FC 2 (3-7-4, 13 points) at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila, Washington. The game will kick off at 7p.m. CT with a live stream on SportingKC.com.


Four Sporting Kansas City Academy teams are set to compete in regional and national tournaments this week. The U-16s and U-18s will kick off the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Playoffs at Toyota Park in Frisco, Texas, playing Wednesday, Friday and Sunday in the group stage of a competition that features the best youth talent in the country. Meanwhile, the U-14s and U-15s will compete in the U.S. Youth Soccer Region II Championships at Grand Park Sports Complex in Westfield, Indiana.
