Graham Zusi - U.S. MNT vs. Costa Rica - June 7, 2016

Sporting Kansas City will play their final game of June on Wednesday with a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 match against the Houston Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium. The match will kick off at 6 p.m. CT and will be streamed live on SportingKC.com.

Sporting KC enters Wednesday’s match on a four-game unbeaten streak in all competitions. Peter Vermes’ side advanced to the Round of 16 with a 2-1 overtime win over Minnesota United FC in the Round of 32.

The defending U.S. Open Cup champs will look to continue the club’s momentum heading into a busy July that includes six MLS matches and a potential Open Cup quarterfinal match should the club win on Wednesday. The busy July slate kicks off on Sunday with a home match against Columbus Crew SC who have one win in their previous eight MLS matches and lost Tuesday evening to the Chicago Fire in their Open Cup match.

Tuesday’s Sporting KC Show on Sports Radio 810 previewed Wednesday’s match against the Houston Dynamo as well as Sunday’s fixture against Columbus with Crew broadcaster Neil Sika. In addition, Sporting KC winger Graham Zusi joined Nate Bukaty and Carter Augustine to discuss his time with the U.S. Men’s National Team at Copa America Centenario.
