Swope Park Rangers to welcome Liberty Public Schools students and staff at upcoming home games

The Swope Park Rangers will welcome students and staff from the Liberty Public School district at two upcoming home matches, the club announced today.


This Sunday, three elementary schools – Kellybrook Elementary School, Liberty Oaks Elementary School and Alexander Doniphan Elementary School – will be in attendance at Children’s Mercy Park when the Rangers take on cross-state rivals Saint Louis FC.


Three weeks later, the Swope Park Rangers will host Liberty North High School Night on Saturday, September 10 in conjunction with the club’s penultimate home match of the regular season against Tulsa Roughnecks FC.

The Liberty Public School district is the second fastest growing district in the state and serves more than 11,800 students in preschool through 12th grade. The Liberty High School girls soccer program won back-to-back state championships in 2010 and 2011, led by current professionals Shea Groom (FC Kansas City) and Kaysie Clark (Skövde KIK).
