On the first-half performance:
"I think that in the first half, it was one to forget. There's nights that are very bad, and we had a bad night. In the second half, you're down 2-0, you come out well, I think the 25, 30 minutes we scored, we changed as a team, but when they scored the 3-1, we just broke. It was very difficult, and that's it."
On New York's victory:
"I have to congratulate New York, because I think they were the best team in the season. They won not only their division, dominating their division, winning the final, so you have to give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. They were the best team. They deserve it, and they're champions for a reason."
On adjusting to New York's pressing game:
"We didn't adapt well in our triangle. Having lost Ualefi, we never were able to adapt in our triangle in the midfield. During the first 30 minutes of the first half we changed the triangle, we left it up a little bit to put pressure on their midfielders. I think they had too much space to think and to play, and that's what made it difficult for us. In the second half we brought Granitto in, and we were able to stabilize a little bit more, but again, I think when you play a team that dominates you pretty much from start to finish, you just have to take it."
