Preseason is over and the season is upon us. In five days, Sporting Kansas City will open the 2017 season at RFK Stadium against D.C. United. It will be the club's final match in historic RFK Stadium as Ben Olsen's side plans to move into their new stadium, Audi Field, in 2018.
Ahead of the season opener, Sporting KC defender Matt Besler joined Nate Bukaty and Steven St. John on The Border Patrol to recap the team's preseason campaign in Arizona and look ahead to the coming season. He also snuck in a picture with Kansas City Chiefs legend Christian Okoye (pictured, above) who was in studio at 810 WHB prior to Besler.
Besler wasn't the only one on radio today talking Sporting KC.
