After battling FC Dallas to a 0-0 draw in Saturday's home opener, Sporting Kansas City (0-0-2, 2 points) will return to Children's Mercy Park for this weekend's Western Conference clash against the San Jose Earthquakes (2-0-0, 6 points). Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT and a limited number of tickets are available via SeatGeek.com. The first 10,000 fans through the stadium gates will receive Sporting KC flags courtesy of match sponsor H&R Block and Block Advisors.


FOX Sports Kansas City will televise the match live, with three hours of coverage beginning at 7 p.m. CT. Listeners can follow the match on ESPN 99.3 FM (English) and and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish), while a live stream will be available on FOX Sports GO. In addition, The Final Whistle postgame show will air immediately after the game on ESPN 99.3 FM.


A new episode of the Sporting KC Show will air tonight at 7 p.m. CT on Sports Radio 810 WHB. Hosts Nate Bukaty, Carter Augustine and Jillian Carroll will recap Week 2 in MLS and look ahead to Saturday's match against the San Jose Earthquakes.


Supporters can use the Sporting KC Uphoria app to redeem a free box of Oreo cookies at Kansas City are Price Chopper locations. The offer expires tonight at midnight and is available to fans who download the app and register a free account. Sporting KC Uphoria is available for free on the App Store and Google Play.


The Swope Park Rangers will face Creighton University in their final preseason tune-up on Saturday at Swope Soccer Village. The match is free and open to the public, kicking off at 3:30 p.m. CT with live updates via @SwopeRangers on Twitter.


To celebrate the start of the new USL season, the Swope Park Rangers will host their 2017 Season Kickoff Party on Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m. CT at No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power & Light District. In addition to enjoying a variety of happy hour food and drink specials, fans will be able to interact and play games with players and coaches. The Western Conference Championship trophy will also be on display with photo opportunities for supporters. SPR Season Ticket Members can pick up their exclusive STM gift at the event, and those who plan to attend can RSVP here.


The Sporting KC Academy U-18s and U-16s are in action at Swope Soccer Village this Saturday, playing a doubleheader against Lonestar SC in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. The U-18s kick off at 10 a.m. CT and the U-16s take the field at 12:30 p.m., with live updates available via @SKCAcademy on Twitter. Both matches are free and open to the public.
