After taking last weekend off for FIFA's international break, Sporting Kansas City (1-0-2, 5 points) returns to MLS action Friday when the club visits defending Eastern Conference champion Toronto FC (1-0-2, 5 points) at BMO Field. The interconference clash between unbeaten teams will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT with national television coverage on FS1, FOX Deportes and FOX Sports GO. The match will also be broadcast live on La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish), and The Final Whistle: Sporting KC Postgame Show will air immediately after the game on Sports Radio 810 WHB.

Supporters are welcome to attend Friday's official watch party for the match at No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power & Light District (1370 Grand Blvd.), featuring $5 Boulevard draft specials and two all-inclusive food buffet options that begin at 6 p.m. CT.

Sporting Kansas City defenders Matt Besler and Graham Zusi remain with the U.S. Men's National Team for Tuesday's pivotal World Cup qualifier at Panama, broadcast live at 9 p.m. CT on beIN Sports, Telemundo and NBC Universo. The United States heads to Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City on the heels of a 6-0 win over Honduras last Friday — a convincing performance that gave the U.S. MNT its largest margin of victory in a Hexagonal match since the current World Cup qualifying format was introduced ahead of the 1998 tournament.

While Besler and Zusi compete in Panama, Sporting KC midfielder Roger Espinoza returns to his native Honduras for a World Cup qualifier against Panama at 4 p.m. CT Tuesday at Estadio Francisco Morazan in San Pedro Sula. All six CONCACAF nations will play seven more games in the Hexagonal — CONCACAF's final qualifying round — between now and October, with the top three finishers punching their ticket to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The fourth-place finisher will face an Asian team in a two-legged World Cup playoff in November.

The Swope Park Rangers began their defense of the USL Western Conference title with a 3-1 comeback victory over OKC Energy FC on Saturday at Children's Mercy Victory Field in Swope Soccer Village. The Rangers remain home Wednesday when they host Portland Timbers 2 at 7:30 p.m. CT. Tickets are available at SeatGeek.com or at the stadium box office on game day, and the match will stream live on SportingKC.com.

A new episode of the Sporting KC Show will air at 7 p.m. CT Tuesday on Sports Radio 810 WHB. Hosts Nate Bukaty, Carter Augustine and Jillian Carroll will discuss World Cup qualifiers involving Sporting KC players and look ahead to Friday's showdown at Toronto FC.

Single-game tickets for Sporting Kansas City’s home matches through July 6 are on sale to the general public at SeatGeek.com, the club’s new and official ticketing provider that allows supporters to buy, share and sell tickets easier than ever before. In addition, away ticket requests are now open for four Sporting KC road matches: at Portland Timbers (April 15), at FC Dallas (April 22), at Minnesota United FC (May 7) and at Orlando City SC (May 13). Visit SportingKC.com/awaytickets for easy navigation, and call 888-4KC-GOAL for more ticketing information.

Sporting KC and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City are teaming up in 2017 to recognize Blue KC Sporting Samaritans, honoring students and teachers who make the Kansas City community a better place to live, work and play. Once a month, a Samaritan will be recognized on the pitch at Children's Mercy Park before a Sporting KC home game. Once a month, a Samaritan and up to three guests will receive a behind the scenes VIP experience, four tickets to the game, a parking pass and a $50 gift card redeemable for Sporting KC merchandise. Supporters can nominate members of their community to be the next Blue KC Sporting Samaritan at SportingKC.com/bluekc.
