Injury Report: No new injuries ahead of rivalry showdown with Real Salt Lake

For the second week in succession, Sporting Kansas City enters the weekend with no changes in the teamā€™s injury report, meaning that only Diego Rubio remains listed with a torn ACL suffered in October.

Midfielder Benny Feilhaber has made a successful return from his thigh strain that sidelined him for games against Toronto FC and the Colorado Rapids, starting the two most recent games against the Portland Timbers and FC Dallas.

Real Salt Lake is dealing with numerous injury concerns, with 10 players potentially missing for Saturdayā€™s contest. Defender David Horst and forward Chad Barrett are each listed as out with knee problems, while a number of regular starters are listed as questionable in Nick Rimando (hamstring), Tony Beltran (hamstring), Justen Glad (knee), Aaron Maund (hamstring) and Jordan Allen (quad).

RSL could be boosted by the return of midfielder Stephen Sunday who has missed the last three games with a hamstring issue and is listed as probable for Saturdayā€™s game. Also listed as probable are Joao Plata ā€“ who went the full 90 minutes in last weekā€™s defeat to Atlanta United FC ā€“ and Chris Wingert who was forced to leave that game with a facial injury in the 71st minute.

Tonightā€™s rivalry showdown is set for 7:30 p.m. CT from Childrenā€™s Mercy Park, with the game broadcast on FOX Sports Kansas City Plus and the FOX Sports GO app. ESPN 99.3 FM (English) and La Grande 1340 AM (Spanish) will have the call on the radio.
