Sporting Kansas City returns to the road this weekend to take on Toronto FC - led by European Championship winners Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi -- at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at BMO Field in Ontario, Canada.

The cross-conference clash will be streamed live on Apple TV for MLS Season Pass subscribers in addition to local radio coverage on ESPN KC 94.5 FM and 1510 AM as well as La Grande 1340 AM.

Pub partners in the Sporting Pub Network will also show all of the action, including a watch party at No Other Pub in the Kansas City Power and Light District. Food and drink specials will start at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, including $4 domestics, $5 wells and 50% off nachos.

VARGAS AND HONDURAS FACE EL SALVADOR ON TUESDAY

Sporting Kansas City forward Alenis Vargas has joined the Honduras Men's National Team for the first time during the current FIFA international window. Honduras will take on El Salvador at 7:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston for an international friendly televised live on FOX Deportes.

ACADEMY U-13 AND U-14 TEAMS IN FLORIDA

The Sporting KC Academy U-13s and U-14s will compete in the 2024 Easter International Cup this week in Orlando. The U-13s will play ODP National Select Team at 12:45 p.m. CT on Wednesday before matches on Thursday against Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles (8:45 a.m. CT) and Atlanta United FC (1:45 p.m. CT). The U-14s will open the tournament against Inter Miami CF at 4:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday then face ODP National Select Team (8:45 a.m. CT) and Intercontinental Football Academy (12:35 p.m. CT) on Thursday. BEHIND THE SHIELD PREMIERES ON THURSDAY

New in 2024, Behind the Shield presented by Audi will be available after every match this season with the video series - produced by Sporting's full-time digital storytellers - providing fans with an immersive viewing experience highlighted by exclusive interviews and all-access footage from SKC players, trainings and matchdays. This week's BTS captures the sights and sounds from the club's Western Conference clash with the LA Galaxy and will premier at noon CT on Thursday on SportingKC.com and Sporting Kansas City's YouTube channel.

BLOOD DRIVE AT CHILDREN'S MERCY PARK ON THURSDAY

Sporting Kansas City and Community Blood Center will continue their longstanding partnership this month when Children’s Mercy Park hosts a blood drive from 12-6 p.m. on Thursday with all registered donors receiving a free "I Bleed Sporting Blue" t-shirt. Community members can make an appointment for the blood drive online or by calling 1-877-468-6844. Appointments for the blood drive are strongly encouraged and walk-ins will only be accepted as capacity safely allows.

LEAGUES CUP TICKETS ON SALE THIS THURSDAY

Tickets for the Leagues Cup 2024 group stage at Children's Mercy Park will go on sale this Thursday via SeatGeek. Sporting Kansas City will host the Chicago Fire at 8 p.m. CT on Sunday, July 28 in the opening match for Group 4 of the West Region then host 10-time LIGA MX champions Deportivo Toluca FC at 8 p.m. CT on Monday, Aug. 5 in the group finale. Tickets for both matches are included in season ticket packages.

SPORTING STRIPES SESSIONS BEGIN SATURDAY

The spring session of Sporting Stripes, a beginner soccer program for 2-5 year olds, will start on Saturday at Central Bank Sporting Complex (9101 N. Line Creek Pkwy.) in Kansas City, Missouri, and Compass Minerals Sporting Fields (1500 N. 90th St.) in Kansas City, Kansas. The programs are offered on Saturday mornings for six weeks. ACADEMY U-15 AND U-17 TEAMS AT GA CUP

The Sporting KC Academy U-15s and U-17s will compete in the 2024 Generation adidas Cup this week at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The U-15s will kick off the competition against the San Jose Earthquakes at 10:30 a.m. CT on Saturday before facing Charlotte FC at 10:30 a.m. CT on Sunday. The U-17s will open against Real Salt Lake at 3:30 p.m. CT on Saturday then play Inter Miami CF at 3:30 p.m. CT on Sunday. Fans can follow @SKCAcademy on Twitter for updates.

SKC II HOSTS ST. LOUIS ON SUNDAY IN LAWRENCE

Sporting KC II will host cross-state rivals St. Louis CITY2 at 4 p.m. CT on Sunday at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kansas. Tickets for the Frontier Division match-up are available online via SeatGeek and the match will be streamed live on MLSNEXTPro.com. BECOME ONE PREMIERES ON APPLE TV THIS SUNDAY

Each month throughout the 2024 season, Become One: Sporting in the Community will be available on Apple TV to highlight Sporting Kansas City's involvement and investment in the local community. The first edition of the video series will debut this Sunday and can also be viewed on SportingKC.com or Sporting Kansas City's YouTube channel.

SPORTING REC LEAGUE PRE-K REGISTRATION CLOSES SUNDAY

Registration closes Sunday for the Pre-K age group in the upcoming Sporting Rec League spring season at Central Bank Sporting Complex (9101 N. Line Creek Pkwy.) in Kansas City, Missouri for youth players born between Aug. 1, 2018 and July 31, 2019. Practice and games - featuring a 3v3 format - will begin on Saturday, April 13.
