Sporting Kansas City will debut a new third kit on Sunday. Gates will open at 2 p.m. CT, thirty minutes earlier than usual so fans can purchase the new white argyle merchandise available at Sporting Style locations and Shop.SportingKC.com.

The Chicago Fire are in the midst of a three-game winning streak, defeating Philadelphia, Toronto FC and most recently New York City FC after starting the season with three consecutive losses.

Chicago has yet to secure a road result in 2015 and Sporting Kansas City is unbeaten at home this season and in their last four home matches against the Fire, including three clean sheets.

Chicago Fire Designated Player David Accam scored his first career MLS goal last weekend to lead Chicago to victory against NYCFC.

Sporting KC is fresh off the second-highest scoring game in club history with their 4-4 draw at Houston last weekend. Benny Feilhaber scored two goals against the Dynamo and his game-tying strike earned MLS Goal of the Week for week eight. Feilhaber, an MLS Player of the Month nominee, boasts a League leading five assists in 2015.

Chicago’s Harry Ship has three assists this year, tied for fourth most among MLS players. The Fire will be without Matt Watson who will serve a one-game suspension for serious foul play in the club’s last match. Sporting KC will be without Servando Carrasco who will also be serving a one-game suspension on Sunday.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early on Sunday due to the 98th Street construction project happening in Village West. The first 10,000 fans to arrive will receive a Sporting KC rally towel and from 2 – 2:30 p.m. CT all hamburgers and hot dogs will be half price as well as $3 domestic beers.
