Wednesday, April 1: Q&A with Sporting Legend Jimmy Conrad

With players and fans alike ordered to stay home, there is no better time to cast a look back at the greatest moments and stories in Sporting Kansas City history. As a proud charter member of MLS and one of the league’s most successful teams, Sporting has been graced by numerous stars whose colossal impacts on the pitch still resonate to this day.

Among the many beloved fan favorites who have donned a Kansas City uniform is former defender and U.S. international Jimmy Conrad. The center back anchored Kansas City’s backline from 2003-2010 as a perennial MLS All-Star and a vibrant personality whose passion for the game remains evident to this day. will publish a Q&A with Conrad this week that covers the biggest moments of his club career, his best memories in Kansas City and his unforgettable experiences with the U.S. Men’s National Team.

Thursday, April 2 (7 p.m. CT): Sporting KC vs. Real Salt Lake from Nov. 11, 2018

As the calendar turns to April, Sporting fans will have two weekly sources of classic matches: Thursdays on and Saturdays on FOX Sports Kansas City. This Thursday at 7 p.m. CT, will stream Sporting's epic 4-2 victory over rivals Real Salt Lake in the decisive second leg of the 2018 Western Conference Semifinals at Children's Mercy Park. Per MLS rules, the stream will be geofenced to fans in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska.

Friday, April 3: Sporting's best moments vs. LA Galaxy

Sporting Kansas City and the LA Galaxy were slated to square off this Saturday at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. In lieu of the match's postponement, Sporting on Friday will post a highlight package of the club's all-time greatest moments against the Galaxy, who have served as one of Kansas City's fiercest rivals since the inaugural 1996 MLS campaign.

Saturday, April 4: Sporting KC vs. LA Galaxy in FIFA 20 (players TBD)

Same concept as above: to make up for the MLS match postponement, one representative from Sporting will face a Galaxy rep in a FIFA 20 showdown that will stream live on and on Twitter at @SportingKC. Last weekend, Sporting's Wan Kuzain handled RSL's David Ochoa on the sticks. Keep it locked on all of Sporting's digital platforms throughout the week for more details about Saturday's matchup.
