Career Summary

2016: Joined the Swope Park Rangers as an in-season signing on May 13. Made 17 appearances, including 10 starts, scoring three goals and adding a team-best seven assists in the 2016 regular season. His seven assists also placed third in the USL. Made his debut in the 4-0 win over Rio Grande Valley FC on June 8 and scored his first goal against OKC Energy FC on June 18. Recorded his first two assists for the club against Orange County Blues FC on July 23 before adding another assist the following weekend against San Antonio FC on July 30. Added another assist in the 2-1 victory over LA Galaxy II on Aug. 27 before scoring both goals in a 2-1 win over San Antonio FC on Aug. 31. Added single assists in his final three games of the regular season: two against Tulsa Roughnecks FC (Sept. 10 and 21) before tallying his seventh of the season against Seattle Sounders FC 2 on Sept. 24. Started all four games for the Rangers in the USL Cup Playoffs.

Before USL: Ayrton began his career in his hometown of Sao Paulo, Brazil in Corinthians’ Academy, advancing to the Under-20 age group by 2014. Ahead of the 2014-15 season, Ayrton was sent on loan to Portuguese Segunda Liga side CF Uniao Madeira, where he made 37 appearances and scored three goals in all competitions before returning to Corinthians in 2015. Ayrton went on trial at Dutch side ADO Den Haag briefly in the summer of 2015 before joining Tigres do Brasil on loan at the start of 2016. With Tigres, Ayrton helped the side to a 3-2-2 record in the Taca Rio tournament, culminating in a third-place finish before coming back to Corinthians.
