Sporting Kansas City right back Michael Harrington has agreed in principle to re-sign with the club. Harrington, drafted 3rd overall in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft, was out of contract.
Sporting President Robb Heineman announced the news via Twitter, saying: "Harrington is signed....meow."
"Meow" references a prank played on Harrington by teammates in 2010 that landed the defender in Maxim magazine. Watch the prank here on YouTube.
