Sporting Kansas City strikers Kei Kamara and Omar Bravo both participated in autograph sessions at the Home Depot Center on Saturday, following their team's 3-2 victory over Chivas USA. Kamara, who grew up a short drive from Carson, California and worked at the stadium while attending Cal-State Dominguez Hills, joined fellow Sierra Leone native and Chivas USA midfielder Michael Lahoud to sign autographs for supporters of Schools for Salone in a charity event that helped raise money for their cause. Bravo, who made his MLS debut against the sister club of his former team Chivas Guadalajara, participated in a private autograph and photo session with select Chivas USA fans postgame.
Kamara and Bravo's parternship on the frontline for Sporting Kansas City proved fruitful on Saturday, as Kamara provided assists on both of Bravo's goals. Bravo was named MLS Player of the Week on Monday, and Kamara was the only player in MLS to have a multi-assist game in the League's opening weekend. Kamara will miss Sporting Kansas City's match on Saturday at the Chicago Fire as he joins the Sierra Leone National Team for their African Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger this weekend.
