Match time moves for Sporting KC's first visit to Montreal

Sporting Kansas City's match against the Montreal Impact on Wednesday, July 4 will now kick off at 6:00 p.m. CT (30 minutes earlier than originally scheduled), both clubs announced on Thursday.


Sporting Kansas City will make their first-ever visit to Saputo Stadium on Independence Day to face Major League Soccer's newest club in a game that will be shown live KSMO-TV, in additional to a national broadcast in Canada on TSN and RDS.


On Sunday, the two teams will meet for the first time in 2012 at the Disney Pro Soccer Classic in Sporting's second of three games during the group stage of the tournament being held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. All three matches, including the tournament opener at 5:00 p.m. CT on Friday between Sporting Kansas City and the Houston Dynamo, will be streamed live on MLSSoccer.com.
