Get to know Benny Feilhaber

Benny Feilhaber began his college career at UCLA where he was a walk-on but earned second team All Pac-10 honors by his sophomore season. His success at the college level led to a spot on the USA roster for the FIFA 2005 U-20 World Cup. Feilhaber was an integral part of the team that defeated an Argentina side with Lionel Messi, Pablo Zabaleta, and Sergio Aguero. The USA U-20 side had several future SKC players including Michael Harrington and Jacob Peterson.

Feilhaber's performance at the FIFA U-20 World Cup was followed by an opportunity to play abroad. He played in Europe for several years highlighted by a successful run at Danish side AGF before joining the New England Revolution in 2011.

Internationally, Feilhaber has been an important part of the USA's success in major tournaments. His biggest goal in international play was the match winner against Mexico in the 2007 Gold Cup final. He's also played in the Copa America (2007), Olympics (2008), Confederations Cup (2009), and World Cup (2010).
