The Kansas Department of Transportation issued a traffic alert (below) for Saturday's Sporting Kansas City match at Sporting Park. All fans are encouraged to arrive early with parking lots opening at 4:30 p.m. CT on Saturday. The Boulevard Members Club and all gates open at 5:30 p.m. CT; ticket holders can begin accessing their seats at 6 p.m. CT.
I-70 Pavement Repair Project (78th Street to I-635)
EXPECT DELAYS! WEEKEND OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES: Eastbound and westbound I-70 from 78th Street to I-635 will be reduced to TWO OPEN LANES for pavement patching work beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10 and eastbound will be reduced to ONE OPEN LANE beginning at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10 with all lanes reopening to all traffic at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 11. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Sunday, August 11.
I-435 Pavement Marking Project
EXPECT DELAYS! WEEKEND OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES: Eastbound and westbound I-435 RIGHT THREE LANES from Antioch Road to State Line Road will be CLOSED for pavement marking work beginning at 7:00 p.m. on and reopening to all traffic at 8:00 a.m. the next morning on Friday-Sunday, August 9-11. Project work is scheduled to be completed on Monday, August 12.
