Sporting Kansas City defender Matt Besler went in studio at Sports Radio 810 WHB this morning to join Steven St. John and Nate Bukaty on The Border Patrol. Among the many topics brought up in the course of the 20-minute interview, Besler opened with his thoughts on the U.S. Men's National Team's 4-3 victory in Europe yesterday -- which extended the Yanks winning streak to 12 games on a hat trick from Jozy Altidore -- and also Clint Dempsey's return to Major League Soccer. The reigning MLS Defender of the Year also touches on Peter Vermes induction into the National Soccer Hall of Fame and the upcoming English Premier League season.
