SPORTING KC FACE THE REVS AT GILLETTE STADIUM ON SATURDAY
Sporting KC heads to Foxborough this weekend to face the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium. Saturday's match will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on 38 The Spot locally and SKCTV across the Midwest beginning at 6 p.m. CT. New England are 3-2-3 after securing a road point last weekend against the Chicago Fire at Toyota Park. Sporting KC is unbeaten in the club's last five League matches including a convincing 4-0 victory over the Montreal Impact last weekend.

The team's official watch parties will be held at Johnny's Tavern locations in the KC Power & Light District (1310 Grand Blvd.) and Overland Park (8719 W. 95th St.), featuring food and drink specials including select Boulevard drafts as well as the "Blue Believer" signature cocktail (Dragon Berry, Lemon-Lime Red Bull and Blue Curacao).

Sporting KC will train at the Swope Soccer Village at 9 a.m. CT on Thursday. All media availability will be at 8:30 a.m. CT as the team will leave immediately after training and head to the airport. Please contact Molly Dreska, (516)567-4468 if you plan to attend.

SPORTING KC EARNS 4-0 VICTORY OVER THE MONTREAL IMPACT
Sporting KC defeated the Montreal Impact 4-0 last weekend at Sporting Park. Sporting KC took the lead on an own goal by Montreal's Calum Mallace in the 31st minute. Aurelien Collin doubled the lead in the 71st minute and Dom Dwyer added two more goals. Dwyer now has four goals in four games and is tied for third in the League for goals scored.


TICKETS FOR FRIENDLY AGAINST MANCHESTER CITY FC ON SALE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON FRIDAY
Tickets for Sporting Kansas City's international friendly against English Premier League club Manchester City FC on July 23 at Sporting Park will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. CT on Friday and will be available via Ticketmaster.com or by calling 888-4KC-GOAL. Season Ticket Members can currently secure their current regular season seat location(s) during the right of first refusal window. All Season Ticket Members have been invoiced through their online Sporting KC Account Manager and must complete the invoice prior to 10 a.m. CT on Thursday.

Season Ticket Members will also have the opportunity to purchase additional tickets during an exclusive pre-sale via Ticketmaster.com beginning at 12 p.m. CT on Thursday and ending at 10 a.m. CT on Friday. During this pre-sale, the maximum number of seats that can be purchased for the friendly is limited to the total number of regular season tickets associated with the Season Ticket Member's account and is subject to availability.

SPORTING KC TRIO NABS MLS TEAM OF THE WEEK HONORS
Third-year striker Dom Dwyer scored twice, Aurelien Collin scored one and save another off the line as Sporting KC moved into first place in the Eastern Conference. Dwyer and Collin earned MLS Team of the Week honors for Saturday's performances, while Manager Peter Vermes was named MLS Coach of the Week. Read more on the accolades

SPORTING KC AND BEERKC TO HOST THIRD ANNUAL WESTPORT BEER FESTIVAL
Sporting Kansas City has partnered with BeerKC to present the Third Annual Westport Beer Festival, a tribute to seasonal craft beers. This event returns to historic Westport from 5-9 p.m. CT on Saturday, June 7 on Pennsylvania Avenue in front of McCoy's Public House and is a benefit for AIDS Walk Kansas City.

Tickets are now on sale at beerkc.com and are $30 in advance and $35 at the gate. Each ticket includes a tasting glass and unlimited pours from participating breweries, while supplies last. Check out the participating breweries.

SPORTING KC LOAN KEVIN ELLIS TO OKC ENERGY FC
Sporting KC announced on Monday that the club has agreed to loan defender Kevin Ellis to USL PRO affiliate OKC Energy FC.

"Kevin is at a point in his career for him to take the next step," Sporting KC Manager Peter Vermes said. "Getting consistent games in Oklahoma will help provide this opportunity. We'll be tracking his development closely."

Energy FC will host Orlando City SC on Saturday in the team's home opener at Pribil Stadium in Oklahoma City. All USL PRO games are streamed live and archived on YouTube during the 2014 season.

SPORTING KC ON THE RADIO
Sporting Kansas City's Benny Feilhaber, Matt Besler and Dom Dwyer were on the radio this week. Feilhaber joined New England's Andrew Farrell on The Sporting KC Show to preview this weekend's match. Watch last night's show, streamed live via 810whbtv.com and listen to Besler as he joined Sports Radio 810 WHB's The Border Patrol with hosts Steven St. John and Nate Bukaty earlier today.

Dwyer joined Simon Borg and Andrew Wiebe on MLS ExtraTime Radio on Monday after his two-goal performance against the Montreal Impact last weekend. Dwyer discussed his growth in Sporting KC's system over the past three years, his goals for the 2014 season and his recent "Twitter-feud" with Real Salt Lake Nick Rimando. SPORTING KC CELEBRATES EARTH DAY WITH RECYCLE YOUR GAME CLINIC
To honor National Recycling Month in April, Sporting KC along with the Victory Project and the Sporting Club Network have been hosting a series of donation drives for new and gently used soccer equipment. Fans attending pre-designated games and events were encouraged to clean out their garages and bring used soccer equipment to the collection sites. At the conclusion of the campaign, more than 100 pairs of soccer cleats, shin guards and soccer balls were contributed to the cause.

A clinic was hosted on Tuesday, featuring Sporting KC players, coaches and nearly 70 kids from the El Padrino soccer league at Soccer Nation in Wyandotte County. With the support of KCP&L, each child was provided food and given a drawstring bag with a soccer ball, water bottle, t-shirt and pair of donated soccer cleats. Watch video footage from the event.

ERIK PALMER-BROWN AND U20'S FALL IN FINAL OF DALLAS CUP
Sporting KC's Erik Palmer-Brown made his competitive debut for the United States Under-20 Men's National Team in a 3-2 victory over River Plate (ARG) in the first group stage match of the Dallas Cup. With the U.S. trailing 2-1 at halftime, Palmer-Brown replaced Jesus Vazquez to start the second half as the United States rallied for the come-from-behind win.

Palmer-Brown used the performance to earn his first start for head coach Tab Ramos in a 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt (GER) in the team's second match. The U-20's earned a 1-0 victory against Tigres UANL (MEX) in the final group stage match. Palmer-Brown entered the match as a second half substitute to secure the shutout and help the U.S. U-20's advance to the semifinals. 

Palmer-Brown started the semifinal match against Fluminense but received two cautions from referee Sasha Amhof before the halftime intermission. The  U.S. U-20s scored in the 101st minute to advance to the final, but susequently lost to River Plate 1-0 in the Dallas Cup championship match..

HOMEGROWN GOALKEEPER JON KEMPIN NAMED TO UNITED STATES UNDER-21 MEN'S NATIONAL TEAM
Homegrown goalkeeper Jon Kempin is currently with the United States Under-21 Men's National Team for a training camp in Carson Calif. The camp began on Sunday and will conlcude with tonight's friendly against Club Tijuana.

The Leawood, Kan. native is one of 21 players selected to the United States Under-21 Men's National Team roster.


SPORTING KC ACADEMY UPDATE
The Sporting KC Academy U-17's participated in the 2013-14 edition of Generation adidas Cup last week playing matches against five MLS opponents in seven days at the annual tournament. The U17's started strong, going undefeated in their first three matches including a 2-1 victory over D.C. United and the Montreal Impact and a shootout win over Chivas USA. The U-17's fell 2-1 to the Columbus Crew and 3-0 to the Portland Timbers to conclude the tournament.
