  • Sporting Kansas City advanced to the Round of 16 in the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup with a 1-0 victory over St. Louis FC on Tuesday at Sporting Park.
  • The Round of 16 match will be held June 30 or July 1. The round's draw will be conducted on USsoccer.com at 10 a.m. CT on Thursday to determine the match date, opponent and location.
  • St. Louis FC, a USL expansion side, is eliminated from the competition after previously prevailing over the Des Moines Menace (PDL) and Minnesota United FC (NASL).
  • Graham Zusi scored the game's only goal in the 70th minute on an assist from Benny Feilhaber.

  • Sporting Kansas City held an opponent without a shot on goal for the second time this season.
