  • Sporting Kansas City suffered a 2-1 loss to Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium on Sunday.
  • Sporting KC falls to 6-3-6 and Real Salt Lake moves to 5-5-6 in 2015.
  • Real Salt Lake's three Designated Players - Kyle Beckerman, Joao Plata and Sebastian Jaime - all started together on Sunday for only the second time this season. 
  • Jaime opened the scoring for RSL on Sunday. The goal was the first of his MLS career. 
  • Both teams started a homegrown player at centerback. Sporting Kansas City's Kevin Ellis made his 10th appearance of the season while Real Salt Lake's Justen Glad earned his second career start.
